“Our team from Norwegian media outlet Panorama News had the pleasure of cooperating with Journo Birds during our visit to Moldova in September 2025. The purpose of the visit was to do a pre-election reportage from the country before the Parliamentary elections later that month. Journo Birds, represented by its director Marian Männi, responded quickly to our intentional proposal, and we had good and fruitful conversations/discussions in the two weeks before the visit. Our aim was to get in touch with politicians, analysts, party workers, and – not least – the voters. We had a special wish to visit Gagauzia in addition to following campaign activities in areas closer to Chisinau. Journo Birds responded fast and adequately to all our demands, and the journalist/translator Iurie Gandrabura (Romanian and Russian speaking) was assigned especially to do research and assist us in setting up appointments and translations. His ability to speak Russian fluidly was indispensable when speaking to Russian-speaking party workers and during our visit to the semi-autonomous region of Gagauzia. Marian Männi herself took up the task of driving us around to different parts of the country. She is also very well connected when it comes to contacts within parts of the political landscape, which turned out to be very useful. Journo Birds was very flexible and responsive to our request while on the road, not afraid of working long hours. Later, they also assisted in post-reportage research. I can highly recommend Journo Birds as a media production company for other foreign journalists visiting this beautiful country."
