Have you ever known something so deeply you are willing to dedicate your life to it? You start a company, build a team, scream it from the rooftops.
But only empty looks blink back.
…
Nobody seems to speak the same language.
So you simplify the words and shorten the sentences.
You take a deep breath and try again.
And then, one day, you have a number to back it up.
We have been trying to show that human-centric stories are more powerful than any shiny leaflet or serious speech. Last month, we put it to the test with sewage.
It is an important topic, but… it’s a bit boring. It requires a change in thinking that most people aren’t willing to do for a pipe.
We created three videos and an article, barely mentioning the “system” itself. Instead, we focused on the people. We looked for the human layer, the dignity that comes with a connection.
With these simple stories, we reached 106,000 people. The client now receives up to ten daily calls from people asking to connect, specifically referring back to the stories they saw.
Humans don’t relate to systems or leaflets.
They care about other humans because they see themselves in them.
It works.
Storytelling works.
(if you still had your doubts, that is)
